Title: Riders Fall ( A Viper’s Bite MC Novella )
Author: Lena Bourne
Genre: MC Romance
Rider’s Fall is a 200 page novella set in the world of the Viper’s Bite MC series. It is a standalone story, so it’s not necessary to read the other books in the series, although it does contain slight spoilers if read first. No Cliffhanger, HEA Guaranteed!
I never had a home, and the one I found with my MC is gone now too. But I will go on, I always have. I’ll just ride like I’ve done since I got my bike. Ride as far as the road takes me. This time, it took me to the jungles of Brazil, and then it stopped dead. But not because it ran out.
I stopped for a girl named Chloe, a do-good volunteer at an orphanage who is clearly running from something, but she won’t tell me what. She’s not letting me get very close to her either, which won’t stop me trying. Her curves and her pretty face were enough to halt my ride, but that’s not why I’m staying. That’s because being with her is being home–the kind of home I never had nor even wanted until she crossed my path. Now she’s all I want, and I’m a guy who takes what he wants.
I was forced from my home, my college, and the only life I’ve ever known by a vindictive ex-boyfriend and a sex tape that went viral. It ruined my reputation, stopped my career before it even began, and nearly ended my life. But I’ve rebuilt it all working at this orphanage in rural Brazil. The last thing I need is some testosterone filled bad boy messing with my mind and making me do something I’ll regret. He may be hot as sin and he definitely wants me, but he’ll just have to move on. Even though he also taught me how to let go of my past truly and completely, and given me a taste of the freedom I haven’t had since my life went to pieces. Maybe not even before that.
But he’s not here to stay, he doesn’t know how to. And I’ve worked too hard and for too long to have my heart shattered all over again when he leaves me behind.
Rider’s Fall is biker romance novel, which contains steamy sex scenes and deals with disturbing themes that may be uncomfortable for some readers. Intended for 18+ audiences.

The only downfall with this novel is its cover. It doesn’t really pull a reader in. The younger generation especially is very visual.
The story however, really grabs the readers attention from the get-go. Pamela Foland does a great job being descriptive and allowing the reader to feel like they are immersed in the world.
I liked how the characters had things in common with the reader making them feel more authentic.
A nice clean treat for our younger generation who want some comedy and adventure in their life.

After losing both of her parents through a horrible fight, fifteen-year-old Amelia Waters gets trapped into staying with her mysterious aunt Leona and two cousins. It is then where they completely dominate her life and force her to move away from her home in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Columbia, Missouri. This usually upbeat and witty teenager is now suicidal and depressed as she’s forced into their world of hatred. If she tries to flee or escape she has been reassured that her beloved grandparents will be killed immediately. The moment she settles into her petrifying reality, Amelia becomes bombarded with nightmares about the past that reveals a terrible crime. With her back against the wall and no way out, Amelia gains a few unexpected allies that help her overcome her worst enemy—her aunt Leona. They give her the strength she needs to fight and take back the life that was stolen from her. But what Amelia didn’t plan on was to fall in love with Aaron—a mesmerizing boy from her dreams. Every nerve in her body gravitates to him as they fall deeper in love. But slowly Amelia begins to realize that nothing was ever just a coincidence and there is something far greater and dangerous in store for her.
This novel had a lot of heart and a lot of action. Amelia is an interesting lead, she is misunderstood and considered weak yet is such a strong character and I loved that. It was nice getting to know her as a person and not just for her abilities.
I found the plot to be riveting with plenty of twists and turns, drama, and much more along the way.
The writing style was fluid and fast paced, which I really enjoyed!
