Review

My biggest takeaway… this book defies typical genre classification. It really sets itself apart and doesn’t keep itself in any one. That is a great thing, especially for someone who loves multiple genres.

It has a real coming of age, learn from your mistakes, growing as a person, redemption, etc. feel to it.

Gomer is gritty and real, she isn’t sugar coated and her experiences are honest. I loved that about this.

It’s a great piece of writing that will really implore the reader to feel for the characters.

JC Miller lives in the scenic Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania with her husband, children, and floppy-eared Bassador pup.

Ray Bradbury is one of the most celebrated writers in all of American literature. His best-known works include Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Dandelion Wine, The Halloween Tree, and Something Wicked This Way Comes. During his 70-year creative career he also wrote for the theater and the cinema, including the screenplay for John Houston’s film adaptation of Herman Melville’s classic novel, Moby Dick. He adapted sixty-five of his own short stories for the television anthology series The Ray Bradbury Theater, and won an Emmy for his teleplay adaptation of The Halloween Tree. As he did with other creative luminaries of his time, Bradbury became friends with Walt Disney, and in 1964 was invited to designed the interior of the United States Pavilion at the New York World’s Fair. He later designed the interior of the Spaceship Earth Building at Disney’s Epcot Center in Florida, and served as a conceptual consultant to Jon Jerde Partnership, an architectural firm in Southern California. Jason J. Blaise started her journey in writing at the age of the fifteen with her
first unfinished urban fantasy novel based on a popular video game series
known as .Hack. From there she moved her journey into designing characters
and doing concept art for various paying clients. In her older career,
Blaise moved into working for the Indie Gaming industry where she did
concept art for the company HollowRobot and their debut game, Johnny Reboot
and various other clients. Sadly, the game didn’t go anywhere and Blaise
found herself losing interest in what she had done for fifteen years.

In 2017, Blaise embarked on her first ever NaNoWriMo challenge where she
finished the Paranormal Shifter Romance, Blessing of Luna which she indie

production. Her other two businesses include full-time freelance
ghostwriting and the independent bookstore, GreenWood Grove
Booksellers.

After falling in love with the Dresden files by Jim Butcher and later
Saints & Shadows by Christopher Golden, Blaise found a new love for
Urban Fantasy. Reading the beloved Vampire Files by PN Elrod prompted Blaise
to initiate her next phase and begin producing paranormal detective and noir
novels. Now she combines the two and loves every minute of it.

The things people go through really blow my mind. This was an insightful and enlightening look at Courntey’s past relationship and how she not only moved on, but got past the damage it did.

It reads like a fiction book, which is crazy that someone lived through some of these things.

Masterfully written with a completely openness from the author. I really enjoyed this.

Born and raised in the heart of New York City, Courtney Ramm has followed her passion for dance since childhood, which led to a career as a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She’s directed dance schools, performed, and taught all over the world, from Singapore to Thailand to Manhattan.

With her Master’s degree in Dance Education, Courtney has led wellness retreats in Hawaii, focusing on empowerment and transformation. Courtney is the founder and artistic director of RammDance, a non-profit dedicated to keeping the legacy of modern dance pioneer Isadora Duncan alive.
