‘Are these my thoughts or yours?’ I asked.

‘It doesn’t matter,’ said the Sun.  ‘You are
me and I am you….’

The Book of the Sun is a record of the conversations between the author and
the Sun.  It concerns the structure of the living universe, why it is
so difficult here, and why we should all begin to realize that we are all
one, and yet diverse at the same time.  It answers many questions that
have concerned minds throughout the millennia.  Why are we here?
Why is there suffering?  What is the future for us?  These
questions and many more are answered with many surprises for the
reader.

This is a god- the Sun, speaking to us through this book – who has
contacted us before in Ancient Egypt, the Americas and many other
places.  But the message now is that there is no separation, so the Sun
is very concerned that we should not make a religion out of this
contact.  Religions are based on hierarchies, rules and judgments, and
the Sun’s message is not only that we are one but that love and light
is the only reality, with a spicing of laughter.

‘You are in my heart,’

…It was the sheer warmth of the love that took me by surprise.  It
melted my heart in gratitude and joy.  It opened me to the most
thrilling conversation of my life.

Headline wanted all three. All her fiction books are published under the
name Jenny Jones. Two adult ghost novels followed, Where the Children Cry
(1998) and The Blue Manor (1995) both published by Gollancz. Five other
fantasy/horror books for teenagers were published by Scholastic (1994, 1995,

Jocelyn has chased his nemesis for centuries. He swore that nothing or no
one would stand between him and revenge on the creature that destroyed his
life. That same rival leads Jocelyn to the one person who can reconnect him
to the human race.

Art student Charlie has no idea that her family history binds her to a
creature of legend–until he appears in the form of a tall, beautiful man
with a thirst for revenge. The last thing she wants is to follow his orders,
but if she intends to stay alive, she has no choice.

Note: The Darkness Therein was previously published. This re-edited version
contains additional scenes.

Excerpt

She blocked his overhead strike and lashed out so hard and fast with the
end of her staff that she finally found her mark directly over his heart.
The impact forced him to his knees. Clutching a hand to his chest, he leaned
forward. His hair fell over his face, blocking his view of her overhead
strike. It fell across the back of his head and knocked him downward so that
he scarcely had time to break the fall with his hands. Instinctively his leg
lashed out and swept her feet out from under her, sending her crashing to
the grass.

Charlie hit the ground with a grunt and remained there for a few seconds,
catching her breath. Jocelyn recovered first and sprang to his feet,
offering her his hand. She took it, her gaze fixed on his.

“Excellent,” he said. “You stunned even me.”

“You weren’t expecting it.” She hated the quiver in her
voice. Her hands trembled with the surge of emotions he’d aroused. Now
that she’d calmed a bit, she realized why he’d been so awful.
He’d deliberately taunted her into fighting him without holding
back.

“No, and I haven’t underestimated anyone in a very long
time,” he admitted. “None of us are ever too old to
learn.”

“I’m sorry if I hurt you.” She tried pulling her hand
from his.

“Don’t worry about it. You needed to know you can fight us.
Edrik is powerful, but you’re not necessarily at his mercy, not as
long as you’re my apprentice.”

“I couldn’t ask for a better teacher.” She said with
heartfelt honesty.

“Nor I a better student.” He dropped her hand, collected their
weapons, and placed them against the wall. “I think that’s
enough for tonight. You may go inside if you want. I’m staying here
for a while longer to practice.”

“Do you mind if I watch?” Not only did she find his athleticism
aesthetically pleasing, but she learned from observing his technique.
Settling herself on the wall, she stretched her arms and shoulders before
she became so involved in him that she stared, motionless.

In the center of the yard, he practiced kata, a pre-planned series of
movements resembling a powerful, graceful dance, though it was actually a
mock fight against an imaginary opponent. She’d never seen anyone
perform with his liquid grace and subtle power born from natural talent as
well as centuries of practice. Watching the play of muscles beneath the
black tank top that clung to his perspiring body, she imagined how it would
feel like to be enveloped in his sinewy arms.

As if sensing her thoughts, he turned to her, his dark eyes reflecting the
torch flames, his lips parted slightly.

Lightning flashed in the distance. He gazed skyward just before fat
raindrops fell through the trees. He approached, but to her surprise,
instead of reaching for the staffs, he stepped between her legs, took her
face in his hands and covered her mouth in a possessive kiss.
Charlie’s heart raced. Moaning softly, she closed her eyes and wrapped
her arms around his neck and her legs around his lean waist.

Higher Connections by Eric & Alexandra Right #blogtour #bookreview #nonfiction #selfhelp #humor #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours @MKWebsiteandSEO @higherconnecti3

Most people go through life worrying about silly things: careers,
mortgages, family strife, the size of their biceps, how many Instagram
followers they have, and most importantly, fantasy football. What if there
was a way to get more out of life through deeper and more meaningful
connections with those you care the most about? Some people turn to religion
or meditation for these connections; I turned to my one true friend,
cannabis.

The book summarizes my experiences with cannabis, the interesting
connections I have made, the benefits to me from making these connections,
what I think is happening that allows me to make these connections, and some
other random and (hopefully) funny observations I have written down while
high.

I hope you enjoy the trip as much as I did.

Review

A unique perspective in which the authors highlight their experiences and share with the reader in a fun way. I loved the layout and the way their words came across. It’s full of real life examples, wit and humor and reads as though it’s a story from a friend.

About the Author

The author, known by the penname Eric Right, is not an author by the
standard definition of one. He has been writing a variety of things in his
mind for close to 30 years, starting with love letters to girls in
elementary school that he never had the guts to deliver to and eventually
evolving to commentary and thoughts on a wide range of social issues like
the environment, religion, abortion and the state of the world. Fortunately,
due to his career and other demands, none of these thoughts made it to
paper……until now when he decided to write about his journey
with marijuana over the past several years.

Eric’s journey with marijuana began in early 2020 as a way to cope
with the stress of family, work and relationships. Eventually, his journey
evolved into unexplainable connections with those close to him to the point
where he decided it was worth writing these down into a book, which he
cleverly titled: Higher Connections: Humor and Observations of a Certified
Public Pothead.

While Eric does not expect more than 10 people to actually buy the book,
writing these thoughts down onto paper was healing and freeing and he hopes
others will hopefully benefit from one or two of the things detailed in the
book.

Eric has no awards, no honorary doctorates and no other contributions as a
knight of the pen.  He is just a “normal” middle aged dude
with the normal stressors of everyday life who tried marijuana one day and
hasn’t looked back since. He does not claim to know the answers to
mysteries of life but he is sure as hell trying to figure them out.

Eric grew up in the suburbs and has three kids, a dog, guinea pigs, koi
fish and thousands of flies in the house he shares with Alexandra. Eric
loves working out, going to concerts, watching hockey, and playing
Playstation with his kids.

Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll and Nursing by Raymond Moore #blogtour #bookreview #newadult #fiction #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours

New Adult/Adult Fiction

My flatmate Bill summed me up recently. “Calum,” he said.
“Ah love ye man, but when it comes tae women and relationships,
you’re a total nightmare.” I’m not a bad guy. I mean … I’m
not. Ask anyone. I’m a nurse, for God’s sake. How bad could I be?
Look, I’m not saying I’m an angel – far from it. I’m just saying…

Anyway… I’ll let you be the judge.

Leaving Skye, I arrived in Edinburgh in the early 1980s to study nursing. I
first met Bill when I moved into a shared flat in Warrender Park and got
involved with his band, Low Down. Man, I loved their music and wanted to do
anything I could to help them achieve success.

Of course, we took drugs – who didn’t?

The thing is, I was selfish – I know that now. Knew it then too, but
I was a man on a mission. The way I was living, though, it couldn’t
last. I was on a collision course with myself and my karmic reward was
waiting to kick me in the head.

Review

This was an interesting read that really comes across as true life. You can tell that Raymond Moore used some of his own life to give us a raw and honest account that really appeals to the reader.
In the end, this story, while it kept me engaged.

The house is shaking, colors are sparkling, things are starting to break…
and did that toy start moving?

Thirteen-year-old Marley is convinced that Christmas is just for little
kids and that magic doesn’t exist, but when she and her siblings
tiptoe downstairs in the middle of the night to take a sneak peek at their
stockings, she’s about to discover that magic is more real than she
ever imagined…

When the children’s toys start coming to life, Marley will need to
think fast if she’s to protect her siblings from rampaging dinosaurs
and wild monkeys. The fate of them all depends on whether she can find the
right kind of magic.

This thrilling and heartwarming adventure is a beautiful tale of a big
sister who has forgotten the joys of Christmas.

About the Author

Christmas has always been Hilary Hauck’s favorite time of year.
Growing up in the United Kingdom, Christmas meant family gatherings, turkey
and stuffing, crackers, mince pies, charades, and the Queen’s speech
in the afternoon.

According to Hilary, every child should have magic in their life, and
stories enlighten us with the endless ways magic is all around. Why did she
write this story about the wrong kind of magic? Well, because sometimes we
need to feel the wrong kind of something before we know what the right kind
looks and feels like.

Hilary is also the author of From Ashes to Song, inspired the true story of
three Italians who immigrated to Pennsylvania ninety years before she did.
She has written short stories for Like Sunshine After Rain and anthologies

Poopie Suits & Cowboy Boots by Frank Hood & Charles Hood #promo #coldwar #biography #nonfiction #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours

6 book Poopie Suits Series

Cold War Biography – Non Fiction

Date Published: 01-17-2018

photo add-to-goodreads-button_zpsc7b3c634.png

Poopie Suits and Cowboy Boots is a story of a young man volunteering to
serve aboard a US Submarine, and the life changing journey he had to take to
even get on a submarine.  Then, once aboard, you go through the
day-to-day life while on the front lines of the Cold War at sea.  The
scary incidents, the wild times in ports of call, the ongoing testing the
men were subjected to by the crew.  Historical touch points anchor the
story in the mid to late 60’s, a time of the nascent space program and the
Vietnam War.   Frank’s story serves as a frame work to explain how
submarine systems operate, in simple easy to understand terms.  There
is a lot packed into this true story, and we hope that those who read it
will come away with an enhanced understanding of what these men went
through, the sacrifices that had to made, the unrelenting pressure of zero
mistakes in an always potential deadly environment. An deep insight into the
Silent Service.

About the Author

Frank Hood received a NROTC Scholarship to Purdue and started his formation
to being commissioned as a Naval Officer.  For his Senior Cruise, he
was assigned to a WWII era submarine and he saw, first hand, the loose rules
coupled with the cool and professional execution of duties, along with the
great fun they crew had when the pressure was off. He greatly appreciated
the tight camaraderie they had, and he knew that is what he wanted when he
graduated.

This is the genesis of this book.  For over 1 year of Nuclear Power
and Submarine Officer training, to 3 years of keeping the Soviet Submarine
Force at bay, this experience was one of the most impacting of his
life.  Post Navy, he worked as an Engineer, Sales Person, and Business
Owner.  Retired to New Hampshire and enjoying life. Active in the
submarine veteran community, the deep bond formed 50 years before is even
stronger and more appreciated.

Charles Hood is a physician practicing in South Carolina. For years he was
intrigued by his older brother Frank’s service on a hot running, fast
attack submarine, but could not get Frank to ever talk about it. Finally, he
convinced Frank by saying, “Even without the secret mission details,
your day-to-day life is a unique story, and if you don’t tell it so
others can appreciate what you went through, who will?”  With
that Frank dictated his story and Charles word smithed it and add additional
research.  Vetting by many other sub vets helped reduce the errors
caused by 50 year old memories.  The resulting story has been acclaimed
by submarine veterans and civilians alike.  It is in its 5th Edition,
have had other details and stories added to the original content.
